Fiona Posted September 27, 2006 Report Posted September 27, 2006 Hello and welcome, when you have made sense of the world can you explain it to me please :) Enjoy:) Quote
FastFuriousBK Posted September 28, 2006 Author Report Posted September 28, 2006 Dear Fiona, I am currently in my dorm and listening to some music. I read what you wrote and I got some inspiration to come up with a theory of how the universe works. I came up with a theory and I want to share it with you. Here's what I came up with: ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Single Singularity Theory In the theory I came up with, I believe that the big bang existed. To visualize this theory you need to draw a circle on a piece of paper and a point in the middle of the circle and 4 random points on the circle. Draw a line from each one of these points to the middle point of the circle. These 4 points on the circle represent black holes. The point in the middle of the circle represents the singularity at the bottom of all the 4 black holes. All the black holes in our universe share the same singularity. The piece of paper, all the points on the piece of paper, and all the paths of the black holes represent the singularity. In the theory, there are multiple universes and these universes can be visualized with the piece of paper by moving the piece of paper around along the middle point of the circle's axis. The multiple positions of the piece of paper along the middle point of the circle's axis in our own three dimensions represent multiple universes. A singularity is a location where gravitational forces become infinitely strong and space-time becomes infinite. Matter in a singularity is infinitely dense and infinitely small. In the theory all the black holes in our universe are connected together at one singularity which is represented by the middle point of the circle. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- * My brain is officially fried from thinking * Quote
Fiona Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 My goodness! you certainly dont disappoint. Loved your idea but boy oh boy is it mind boggling? After all of your hard work you really deserve to have it scrutinised by somebody with more of a brain for this sort of thing. If only I could understand it as well as I would like! -I had periods of deep frowning, scribbling on paper, followed by 'aah!' - eureka moments - then deep frowning again B) . Enjoyed it tremendously! I am going to study it carefully and come up with something very intelligent to say, just you wait and see! Quote
InfiniteNow Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 FYI... stuff like that will likely get more comments, questions, and critiscisms if posted in the appropriate forum... like Astronomy & Cosmology. Quote
