joltvolta Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 I just moved to Phoenix, Arizona from Denver, Colorado. Adjusting to the change, trying to get college classes going after a semester break. I was majoring in Computer Science, but have switched my focus towards mathematics. Early in 2005, I decided that a life dedicated to education and academic progression is something that I wanted. A life of learning. :) I'm low on the totem, but I don’t think it’s too late to reach a high level of understanding in mathematics, with a focus on Quantum Physics. I hope to be able to contribute something valuable to the discussions and the posts here, and just absorb. Thanks ya'all - jolt Quote
Hoser Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 Sorry to be a boner-kill here, but you should save your time and leave. All the neanderthals here are about as intellectually stimulating as an eight year-old with downs. You'll thank me in due time. (Just kidding.) Turtle 1 Quote
Drip Curl Magic Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 It's never too late to learn. what better place to learn? Welcome. Don't hesitate to ask.... anything. Science is about the study of everything- the infinite that ingests us. Anything and everything. Infinite. I am to come I was. Quote
CraigD Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 Welcome, joltvolta. Pay no attention to the racist H.Sapiens rantings – we H.Neanderthalensis are much more stimulation than an eight-year-old with downs! B)Early in 2005, I decided that a life dedicated to education and academic progression is something that I wanted. We’re mostly non-specialists here, learning about science outside of our professions and academic background. I’ve personally learned a lot here, and look forward to learning a lot more. Quote
