Welcome to Hypography. Can I ask if your interests are limited to planets within just our solar system, or further out as well? I look forward to your contributions to this community, and will see you in the forums. Enjoy! :)

I'm interested in planets in other systems as well, and the possibility of extra-terrestrial life, whereas plain astronomy - things like quasars, black holes and phenomena like that doesn't tend to interest me as much (harder for me to understand too). Also I'm interested in the possibility of manned spaceflight to other planets.

Welcome to Hypography! I share your interest in manned spaceflight and space exploration, although I am a fan of cosmology and the "plain" astronomy stuff, too. :shrug:

To say that there are some spaceflight enthusiasts at hypography is an understatement - It’s one of the most popular subject here.

 

You may notice that the Astronomy and Space forums are a bit sluggish at present. Once you’ve searched out and read some back threads, and feel settled in, I hope you can spark some new activity in them!
