Alluvia Posted October 1, 2006 Report Posted October 1, 2006 Yes Mohit, The non-violent approach to Civil Rights Movement in America during the '60's was taught to students and activists in Atlanta, Georgia a site which later became the Martin Luther King Center. You might want to go to goggle search and explore the non violent techniques. I was very fortunate while at university to take the mediation course taught by a prof which was trained at the center. Qfwfq Posted October 2, 2006 Report Posted October 2, 2006 I think Mahatma Gandhiji was the first great example of teaching non-violent techniques for opposing a regime or a foreign occupation. It was no accident that the '60s people turned to Indian culture for inspiration. Why is this thread in Test Forum? Quote
