stamarama Posted September 30, 2006 Report Posted September 30, 2006 Hello to the Science Forum community. I hope I can contribute to the discussions, share some insights, and learn something in the process. I would have to call myself a reluctant scientist, though I have an undergraduate degree in microbiology and am a few months away from attaining my masters in a science and technology curriculum. I say reluctant because while I appreciate science as a tool for investigating the nature of the world (and worlds) in which we live, and for it's ability to improve our lives when applied to problems of living, I tend towards a more religious and spriritual understanding when it comes to matters of values and truth. That said, one of my favorite quotes is, "Science keeps religion honest." That's a bit about me. I hope to have some good discussions down the line. Ciao! Quote
