Who is/was your most memorable teacher?

Many remember a teacher who had a lasting influence on their life. Some teachers become friends in later life, and some are remembered for a very memorable event.

 

Has there been a memorable teacher in your life so far, if yes why not share the memories and perhaps pay homage! :hihi:

Since it not been much time, there's a good number. I'm not going to use names, I doubt if they'd want me to.

 

X1, an excellent teacher. Sacrificed so much for his students, got to be excellent friends, shared dirty jokes... I thank him for getting me thorugh the most difficult phase of life.

 

X2, a talented and ultra-knowledgeable teacher, to whom you can't pose a question without getting a reply that satisfies you. I respect him for his sheer knowledge, intellect and brainpower. The poor guy never had any money in life... which is why he's ended up as a teacher.

 

X3, a teacher like no other, for his belief in teaching as a noble venture, and his lack of money mindedness. He was interested in altering the minds of his students, and research and knowledge was his only desire. A little psychopathic, but excellent all the same.
