I remember from childhood this riddle sent to a discussion programme on radio:

What is the difference between a bald man, Prince Charles, an orphan, and a monkey's mother?

A bald man has no hair apparent

Prince Charles is an heir apparent

An orphan has nary a parent

A monkey's mother is a hairy parent.

:( Hoarse with laughter, I fell from my horse over a hairy parent jest. :hihi:

One of the most embarrassing mistakes of my teenage years was discovering, on receiving an essay back, that I'd written, "She whore a red dress"...

The whore's red dress, with its trim waist, embarrassed him at the waste of fabric in the shoulders.

That reminds me (don't ask how, the man behind the curtain is not answering emails today) of a certain riddle involving a tie and a drawer. :cup:
