maikeru Posted October 16, 2006 Report Posted October 16, 2006 Well, this is my hundreth or thousandth visit to these forums, so it was only natural that I would register sometime. Came here when I started to do some research on terra preta del indio (Amazonian dark earths), because I was interested in doing some gardening during the summer. I'm currently a student in microbiology (senior year) and thinking about doing a 2nd major in computer science perhaps for software simulation of biological phenomena (especially in the areas of cancer and/or immunology, which are my favorite subjects, and I was exposed to when I worked in an undergraduate research lab). Anyway, this seems like the best science message board I've run across, and one where actual science and not "pop science" is on display. This makes me a real happy camper, as I like to get into the nitty-gritty of science and love it when others can too. :) Quote
