Hello. This is my first post, and it's an odd one.

 

Question: is the planet Jupiter a natural fusion reactor like the Sun? And if so, how might it be used to power an orbital space colony. Yes, I know this is so far in the future that it might as well be never. But still...

 

As you might assume, I am not a natural scientist. Just a computer programmer with a big immagination.
