hallenrm Posted October 18, 2006 Report Posted October 18, 2006 Lately I have discovered that threads on certain parts of nature like Birds, animals, plants or insects are quite popular. I have been thinking of starting a thread on natural patterns, only I do not know which thread should I post in. So a subforum on Naturewatch would be indeed welcome! :cup: ;) :) pgrmdave 1 Quote
pgrmdave Posted October 18, 2006 Report Posted October 18, 2006 For now such things could fit into the Biology forum. Quote
hallenrm Posted October 19, 2006 Author Report Posted October 19, 2006 Thanks pgrmdave! :) But what I have in mind is not only biological objects but non biological too, like rocks, crystals, geological formations. Quote
Tormod Posted October 19, 2006 Report Posted October 19, 2006 It's a good idea. Maybe we should have an "Share your experiences" forum or something similar. Quote

Lots of possibilities for threads within it like one keeping track of bird migration patterns for instance. I say this after watching the back yard feeders fill up with Selasphorus hummingbirds the last few days, probably young and female Rufous Hummingbirds on their way to Central America from Alaska and Canada.
