Boerseun Posted October 25, 2006 Report Posted October 25, 2006 Like any successful business, you have to rope your clients in at an early age. Hence candy cigarettes. Bible stories for kids can also be seen as Dogma Lite. Wrong forum, Janice. Or should we adress you in binary, or hex, or whatever a spambot understands... Quote
Buffy Posted October 27, 2006 Report Posted October 27, 2006 Ah but in this vein, you *have* to go see Jesus Camp down right *scary* movie! People do this sort of thing to kids and wonder why they're messed up.... Which one do you worship,Buffy Quote
Igby Posted November 4, 2006 Report Posted November 4, 2006 I'd heartily recommend the works of F. L. Mortimer to anyone who wants to scare the pants off their little ones and have a laugh while doing so. The Peep of Day and The Clumsiest People in Europe are my personal favourites. Mortimer was a xenophobic, anti-Catholic, batshit crazy Quaker writing children's stories during the mid-19th century, and the way she describes the people of Europe, and the various fates which await naughty children are just hilarious. Turtle Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 When Jebus said "suffer the little children unto me", he meant just that. Quote
