I think that life could not be possilble because then plants could not convert light & heat energy of Sun into chemical energy. Thus, no food for the whole living world. What's your view?:) Quote

What's your view?:evil: I feel that you suffer from a gross misconception about energy, dear Mohit. I would suggest that you read the article about energy on wikipedia. Energy is not converted, it can only be transformed. There is a very subtle difference between conversion and transformation.:) Quote

hallenrm Posted November 2, 2006 Report Posted November 2, 2006 The word conversion is generally limited to substances, or persons in the context of religious faith, for instance an element is converted by virtue of a nuclear decay or a Hindu is converted into a christian. Energy is not a substance, it is a concept. Hence the word transformation is much more appropriate. You may check a dictionary or visit the site Word seek. ! :hihi: Quote
