Evening Posted November 3, 2006 Report Posted November 3, 2006 Hi, I really have no idea what I'm doing. I've read forums before but, other than school, I've never posted in them so I hope I have this right. If not, please forgive me and also I spell very badly and don't always remember to use spell check so please forgive that also. Nobody else seemed to say much about themselves in their introduction which I thought was kinda sad so I'm going to do like the title and introduce myself a bit, brace yourselves, (I think I'm funny). My friends call me Stray because I tend to wander around a lot. I didn't put my location in my profile because I rarely stay anywhere for more than 4 months. I went with Evening because that is the name of my character on WoW. I love to karaoke. I have a plethora of other hobbies and interests but what brings me here is a research paper I'm working on for school. It deals with the question, "are black holes different phases of elementary particles?" My professor thought joining a forum or discussion group might aid in my research so here I am. :cup: Quote
Turtle Posted November 3, 2006 Report Posted November 3, 2006 Good even Evening. Looks as if you started aright. On the black hole topic I hold only the opinion it's an unsettled issue and suggest you use the Search function to find threads and articles here that address it. Welcome aboard.:cup: Quote
Buffy Posted November 3, 2006 Report Posted November 3, 2006 Welcome Evening! As Turtle sez: Search is Good. LOTS of interesting stuff to be found here. But don't be afraid to ask questions! Happy hunting,Buffy Quote

Tormod Posted November 8, 2006 Report Posted November 8, 2006 Nobody else seemed to say much about themselves in their introduction which I thought was kinda sad so I'm going to do like the title and introduce myself a bit, brace yourselves, (I think I'm funny). I wish more people did this! Just jump in and get wet. :phones: Quote
Pyrotex Posted November 8, 2006 Report Posted November 8, 2006 ...What’s wrong with karaoke?Evening, there is nothing wrong, per se, with karaoke. It's just that too many of us have had to suffer through amateur renditions of "The House of the Rising Sun" with a strong Japanese accent. We just can't take any more. The goose bumps just won't go away!!! :phones:  Quote
InfiniteNow Posted November 9, 2006 Report Posted November 9, 2006 What’s wrong with karaoke? The answer to your question is a function of how drunk I am, how much ambient noise there is where it's being sung, and how cute you are. :D Cheers. :phones: Quote
