Yes, Madam Speaker

With the change to a United States House of Representatives Democrat party majority, California Representative Nancy Pelosi is the new Speaker of the House. This is the first time in US history that a woman has held that auspicious position third in line to the President.

 

I look forward to what I think is a restoration of the balance of power between the Executive and Legislative branches, as well as that of the sexes.
