alexander Posted November 17, 2006 Report Posted November 17, 2006 So, um, i had no other place to put this then here in the Tech section, as this does not really fit with chem, or anything else for that matter. Found this video on Youtube and thought, wow this is really cool, and really scary:http://youtube.com/watch?v=HavMghNEU7o http://youtube.com/watch?v=HavMghNEU7o enjoyand i wonder what explosive they use and how much it weighs, it seems like an RDX-based explosive should be even more powerful but yet more stable, but a little remote controlled electric blasting cap with a capacitor or a smal spring driven one, such as the ones used in grenades, but they were looking for something that can be set off without a blasting cap...and you can fit a lot of explosive in a pen, although with this stuff, you will hardly need to. anyways, enjoy and discuss Quote
Turtle Posted November 17, 2006 Report Posted November 17, 2006   :fly: anyways, enjoy and discuss Fascinating! I tooYoutube with extreme prejudice a watermelon with a little known but deadly weapon. Keep it under your hat, or I'll bust your melon! :naughty: :( YouTube - Broadcast Yourself. http://youtube.com/watch?v=bRHuIywrIrMTakk Alex. PS As a magician, I would have prepacked that melon with a butt load of bang to...er...'enhance' the performance. Easy to do in either a live or taped performance. Nothing up my sleave, nothin' in this here melon but seeds. :umno: Quote

InfiniteNow Posted November 17, 2006 Report Posted November 17, 2006 So you're going with the term "Bullroarer" these days, eh? http://hypography.com/forums/earth-science/8764-meteorites-2.html#post143557 Quote
Turtle Posted November 17, 2006 Report Posted November 17, 2006 So you're going with the term "Bullroarer" these days, eh? http://hypography.com/forums/earth-science/8764-meteorites-2.html#post143557 In my mortal combat with the attacking axe-wielding watermelon-head, I dispatched it with a wooden bullroarer, not to be confused with the spinning-disk-on-string/diable/khua. Pictured below is the bullroarer used in the video. It is made of Asian hardwood and I did split a small piece from it when it hit the steel axe. Quote
alexander Posted November 17, 2006 Author Report Posted November 17, 2006 you guys are too much :) asian hardwood, ei... from the new age back to stone? Quote
