Star appeared out of nowhere was super bright then disappear last like 15-20 seconds

Was out side with my telescope looking to see what to look at tonight then seen a bright star appear then disappear it was around like 20 seconds took a rough screenshot with screen sky tonight where it was

Most likely you saw a meteorite that was directly in your line of sight, or coming directly at you. It would appear as a star that suddenly turned on and then faded out, it was an illusion created by the trajectory of the sand sized particle as it burned up in our atmosphere!
