mista_miker Posted November 1, 2009 Report Posted November 1, 2009 no need for links or kits. with the right techniques and chemicals, the safe use of aqua regia can be done the first thing is the presentation of the solid build a home smelter and corn flake the molten metal into 5 gallons of cold waterthen use aqua regia and salts to precipitate the gold, then silver etc... watch out for platinum and palladium contaminants in your gold Quote
hais49 Posted December 30, 2009 Report Posted December 30, 2009 Now we are talking, so, you say it is possible with a melter, gallons of coldwater, and the famous Kingswater as we call the AR here in Holland. Could you tell me how to perform it safely, and does it dissolve all the base metal on which the gold is? Quote

cjaystrong44 Posted April 5, 2010 Report Posted April 5, 2010 i was wondering if it was more economical to make nitric acid at home vs buying it at a chemical supply store? i was able to find some imformation on the web about making nitric acid, but i have no eperience making it. if anybody has imformation on personal experiences they have had making nitric acid at home i would like to know if it was more affordable and cost effective vs buying it in the store. please factor in time at store to get supplies and actual time it took to mix chemicals to get a finished product.thank you:chris Quote
bakermargar Posted June 10, 2010 Report Posted June 10, 2010 The Miller process is filling a crucible with gold to purify, melting it, and then blowing Chlorine gas thru it. Pretty much everything that makes gold impure will combine with Chlorine before gold will...so you end up with fairly pure gold rather cheaply. Quote
