Hello to all,

My name is William, I am currently studying Biology as an undergraduate, though my interests are much more far reaching, perhaps based upon my incessant curiosity since childhood to ask the fundamental questions such as "why?" and "how?", or maybe "why not?" (directed to 'common knowledge', or the firm and rigid defenders of the current scientific paradigm). I am absolutely fascinated by scientific anomalies, though a healthy skepticism is and should be important in the scientific community ('healthy', not blind, unwavering) My perception of 'reality', my views, my opinions, and all other subjective aspects of my own being are constantly being shaped, and sometimes broken up in the process. In other words, I would have quite the lively argument with my past self on a number of science related or even philosophy related topics. I came across this website by accident, (in fact it was the 'strange claims' forum I found) while searching the internet on the topic of lucid dreaming theory (following a discussion on the subject with my roommate).

I look forward to reading and participating in the forums, always up to hear what open inquisitive minds are getting into, and it seems like there are some very knowledgeable members here I could learn a great deal from.

cheers,

William

p.s. I start with the notion of being brief and concise, I end with a novel...
