Guest chendoh Posted March 3, 2006 Report Posted March 3, 2006 In reference to post #146 in this thread. There are times that I do not know why; I do the things that I do. Dear Lord, I've become the bully that I so abhor. Gahd, if I offended you, I apologize…….chendoh By now, after spending 54 years on this planet, I should realize when to use "work" humor or "civilized" humor. I used to say, "some people just don't appreciate my sarcastic wit", but sarcastic usually ends up sarcaustic. Although it's only been a fortnight, I feel comfortable here, and in partaking of the forums that you so generously provide, have come to experience a camaraderie that I am too green to enjoy just yet, if ever………chendoh Quote

C1ay Posted June 17, 2006 Report Posted June 17, 2006 Here's a bump to see what everyone's avatar represents. My newest avatar continues the theme of infinity and impossible figures with the impossible triangle. Are there anyone else's avatar's that you like or dislike? Quote
TheBigDog Posted June 17, 2006 Report Posted June 17, 2006 Mine is a picture of #3 cutting my hair. He hated haircuts after a very bad experience. He is actually crying in this picture. Part of the bargain we made was that if I was going to cut his hair then he could cut mine. When #4 saw this picture he immidiatly wanted to cut my hair too. Good thing I have so little left! All of my avatars have been on a theme. Father, husband. The first one I had was me holding #3's hand while he was learning to walk. Then holding #4's hand while roller skating. Then kising my wife at our wedding reception. I am going to change it again soon. Bill Quote
Mercedes Benzene Posted June 17, 2006 Report Posted June 17, 2006 My avatar is of chemicals!!Muahahhahaha. Quote
IDMclean Posted June 17, 2006 Report Posted June 17, 2006 My avatar is an abstract representation of my inner darkness. It is ment to reflect the fear that I hold behind my laughter and the apprehension that I hide within that dark place within. My avatar is supposed to conveay the sense of Strange-danger that I get from each and every person I ever have come across and is supposed to relay the intimation that I try to hold up to keep the majority of people away from me, cause in the end I am absolutely terrified of people. It is ment to bring to light that shadow which even now refuses to leave me. This is something I accept, as the shadow is a part of me and I would no sooner give it up then end my life. It is my acceptance of my fear and expression there of. Quote

Tormod Posted June 17, 2006 Author Report Posted June 17, 2006 My avatar (for the time being) is, uhm, taken in my Real Life office using the webcam built into my MacBook Pro. :) Quote
EWright Posted June 17, 2006 Report Posted June 17, 2006 What a coincidence, mine was taken in my real-life office too... OK, one of them anyway. Home is where the chips are, right? My cyber office doesn't have quite the same look to it, but it accomplishes the same goal. Quote
