TINNY Posted December 9, 2004 Report Posted December 9, 2004 Is there any good web statistics software which runs on a linux/unix server? And oh, it has to be free... Quote
Tormod Posted December 9, 2004 Report Posted December 9, 2004 Analog and webalizer two I know about. Quote
TINNY Posted December 9, 2004 Author Report Posted December 9, 2004 ok. cool. i'm not sure how to use them though. does it have to be installed on the server? So only my web host can do it and that depends on whether they want to put up with it? Quote
Tormod Posted December 9, 2004 Report Posted December 9, 2004 What host do you use? They should offer you some kind of stats included with your hosting package. Quote
TINNY Posted December 9, 2004 Author Report Posted December 9, 2004 they do but it ain't satisfactory. the previous host used a windows server which had better software. the current linux one lacks some features. this was what my boss said.I actually haven't used or seenany of it. I was just hired to work on the website while i'm on a school break. (that's why i'm online most of the time lately). So i'll just see my boss about the software. thanks a lot. Quote
