Keeping up with this expanding realm

the old forums had the 'my forums' or something where you can view the forums you're involved in. where do i find it in this forum? it's not the 'new posts' right? coz it doesn't seem accurate somehow.

No, it's the "User CP" in the menu. To track the discussions you're in you can go into the Options menu and select which kind of notification you want (none, instant notification via PM or e-mail etc).

 

Then check out the link to "Subscriptions" in the same area (left menu in the User CP). You can even sort your subscriptions in folders...nothing is lost here. ;)

There is also a "Quick Links" link in the Forums menu above where you can find your subscriptions.
