wine Posted December 26, 2006 Report Posted December 26, 2006 Has there ever been any neurological studies on horses while they were being ridden and commanded by humans? I'm curious to know whether they mind us riding them or not. Quote
InfiniteNow Posted December 26, 2006 Report Posted December 26, 2006 Not sure a neurological study could pull out a perceptual interpretation like that... You can put me through an MRI, PET, SQUID, or any other machine and still have no clue as to what I'm feeling at the time. However, despite the lack of measurement, I suggest that there are individual differences among horses, and also that the relationship and history between the rider and the horse play an important role. Does your girlfriend mind you riding her? Do you need to hook her up to an EEG to find out? ;) Cheers. :cup: Quote
LJP07 Posted December 28, 2006 Report Posted December 28, 2006 Would it not be similar to dogs wanting to go for a walk. They want to go with their owner every now and again. I'm sure the horse likes having a ride every now and again, don't we all ! :( Quote
