wine Posted January 13, 2007 Report Posted January 13, 2007 Anyone think there's any correlation between Dark matter and Hypnagogic imagery? Quote
Buffy Posted January 13, 2007 Report Posted January 13, 2007 I think we need to figure out what Dark Matter *is* first! If it turns out to be neutrinos, billions of which course through your body every second, maybe, but the thing about neutrinos is they don't hit very much very often, so there would not be enough hits to really do much but change a dream direction once every 10 years or so (wild, made up number but prolly within a couple orders of magnitude of being right). I canna' change the laws of physics, Cap'n, :)Buffy Quote
LaurieAG Posted January 14, 2007 Report Posted January 14, 2007 Anyone think there's any correlation between Dark matter and Hypnagogic imagery? Para-matter? Quote
Mercedes Benzene Posted January 14, 2007 Report Posted January 14, 2007 Didn't I recently create a thread of hypnagogia?? Well, I suppose it wasn't as general as hypnagogia, but it included one "symptom". Quote
wine Posted January 14, 2007 Author Report Posted January 14, 2007 What are you talking about?I searched the forums and nothing came up.I'm talking about how similar dark matter looks to hypnagogic imagery.Buffy is right. We need to understand Dark Matter before I even think about thinking I CAN SEE DARK MATTER.Oh boy, it was just an idea.So what are YOU talking about Ben? Quote
Jay-qu Posted January 14, 2007 Report Posted January 14, 2007 If it does indeed turn out to be neutrinos than wont we be wrong about how 'un-interactive' they are, because dark matter has a profound gravitational effect on galaxies. Quote
LaurieAG Posted January 14, 2007 Report Posted January 14, 2007 What is para-matter? Swoosh In Latin, para means "against," "counter," "outside," or beyond. For example, parapluie in French means "counter-rain"–an umbrella. Another example that may be applicable to Hypnagosic is paralogism. Quote
wine Posted January 14, 2007 Author Report Posted January 14, 2007 Glorious explaination! Many thanks. Quote
